Historic place

Le Repaire is an intimate hilltop hamlet at the end of lovely valley surrounded by the hilly countryside of the Périgord.
The saying goes that in old times a locally well-known knight must have lived in a small castle on the rocky outcrops of Le Repaire. Later the stones of this castle were used to build a characteristic 'Maison de Maître' in which the present owners live today. In 1944 a French resistance group went into hiding in this manor. One can say that historically Le Repaire (French for 'pirates nest') lived up to its name.

Ideal for families and groups

Apart from some Frenchmen today Le Repaire accommodates a country estate with five picturesque country cottages and the manor house, all set in 5 acres of wooded parkland. It’s save setting and attractive facilities, like a separate children's pool and many playing facilities make Le Repaire attrac-tive for a stay with children. The close situation of the gîtes and their joint capacity up to 24 persons make it very suitable for larger groups to ‘holiday-apart-together’ at the same time.
Le Repaire is a meeting place for people from different nationalities.

Le Repaire offers you a holiday with peacefulness and many possibilities for relaxation on-site, whereas many sportive activities, gastronomic adventures and cultural outings are within hand's reach.
